Unreliable narrator

  There are a lot of different kinds of narrator, some of them are able to trust, but some of the narrators are unreliable, why?

  The reason why we think they are unreliable is because of the way they talking, we can looking at the conversation of the narrator with the other character, if most of the time the conversation speak from the narrator are include a lot of personal opinion, I think that narrator is unreliable, because they didn’t tell you the truth, he or she is talking about his or her feeling about something or some person, for example in the Raymond’s Run, the narrator, Sqeaky, she always use a lot of word to describe the person or girls she don’t like, I think she can be the unreliable character.

Because according to her information we only can know the feeling from her, we can’t know the other people’s feeling, which is unsure.

  The reason why we have unreliable narrator is because, sometime the narrator want to describe his or her own feeling about something or some people, instead of telling the story, when you see the book or article which is talking about something about someone, the narrator is unreliable, because they are talking about their own feeling which is first person not third person, and we only can know the thing from the narrator.

My tell tale heart

  Loud, loud, loud, loud, why the noisy sound cannot go away, it blows my mind, confuse my brain, almost turn me to the hell.

  How is that possible for the police cannot heard the sound, why are they look so clam, didn’t they heard the sound, it is as loud as the bomb. I stand up and walk to my room, try to find a very calm place to take a rest, I close my eyes, try to ignore the sound, but it still here, still in my ear, finally I can’t handle it any more, I take out a hammer, walk into the room stealthily, I go near to the first police, and I use the rest of the power to punch those annoying police, they know I kill the old man, they knew it, suddenly the other two police take out there pistol, they shoot me on my leg and my hand.

 I was lie on the floor with a little bit air, they take me to the police car, and put the shackle, I finish my job, I get rid of the vulture eyes, but suddenly, it coming back, the sound I heart before, is that, the heart beat, it come back, I’ll live with it for the rest of my life.

Hint and foreshadowing

 The story the tell- tale heart is a story include a lot of irony, but how can we know the narrator is sane or insane.

  I think the narrator is insane because, in page 57 the first paragraph, he also saying I am not crazy, but mostly, the normal people won’t kill anyone because of their eues or any other appearance, but the narrator act opposite way, he want to kill the old man live with him, because of his vulture blue eyes, so according to this information you can know the narrator is crazy, and didn’t act like normal people.

  For the foreshadowing part, the reason why we can know in the future he going to kill the man because in page 56 the last paragraph he say about the vulture, and vulture also represent the death, because vulture only eat dead things and you only can see them when something is dead.

Also in the first paragraph, he says he can hear the voice from the hale and heaven, only the dead people go to heaven or hale, but he isn’t die yet, which means you can estimate, maybe somebody going to die, or him.

Scary stories

  Have you ever read about the scary story which sometime is scary then the movies. Or have you meet something or have something you scare about.

  People have things they scare about, for me, I scare about spider, the reason why I scare about it is because, it let me feel horror because of its fluffy hair on the legs, the leg are long and full of hair, it seems if the spider climb on you, it will be very itchy, and very disgusting, and the foreboding feeing, maybe I am going to have a nightmare, with all the scary spider full on my body.

  The reason why those things are scare is because they give you the uncomfortable feeling or the foreboding feeling or you just really don’t like them with no reason.

I also have another reason why I don’t like the spider is because, in some ghost movie, they always have spider in the dark corner to make it for uncomfortable, and the spider look like they are going to hurt you, or can be the inkling that bad thing is going to happen. So for me the spider represents darkness, and uncomfortable, so it really scares me.

Suspicion

In the world there are some things that make you feel strange about it, are you feels good, or not?

 

  When I walk on the street the weather is perfect with sunshine, if I see a man wear a big jacket, and is black, what kind of feeling do you get, if is me, I feel strange about it, because during the hot weather you are not supposed to wear a black long coat, it only make you melting.

During this condition, you might have a guess, maybe the man hide some secret inside the coat, or maybe he hide a dead body inside it, all the bad thing you have in your mind that the bad guy or crime may do , can be project on this strange black coat man.

 

  The reason why it give you the strange feeling is, because he act different than the normal way, in the hot weather day you should not wear the cloth which make you feel hotter, or maybe he is very nervous, and walk cery fast, try to hide someone or try to walk away from anybody.

All the information we get can let us feel suspicion about this man, because he act different than normal people.

What worth the effort   

   In the story, the narrator talk about Squeaky need to take care of her brother Raymond, which also is her only job, sometime she is happy to have Raymond beside her, but sometime, she isn't happy, because if Raymond have some problem, she will get punish, so you can say take care of Raymond is a hard work for squeaky.

   But the problem is, is it worth to keep taking care of Raymond, I think it is.

Because at almost the end of the story, they talk about Raymond runs beside Squeaky, but no body trach him how do the correct breath for the race, and he also use his own running style, both of the structure make Squeaky very surprise, and Squeaky also think when she retire, she can train Raymond and let him become her champion. The reason why Raymond can race and have his own style is because, maybe he is a prodigy in race probably.

   Every body need to find the thing that is worth for you to do, like Squeaky, I think if Raymond have the talent in race, she can train him, because it is their family's tradition, run very fast.

Resolution

  When the young woman starts to be healthy, he can be able to walk around in the hospital, but still a little bit weak. The young detective still come to hospital every day, to take care of her, talk with her, say some joke to make the girl laugh out loud.

      One day the detective decided to bring the girl with him to look around the country, and went back to her house to check. On the way the girl is happy to see the view       and have a talk with each other  

  When they arrived the house already burn down , because her parents is part of the rich family in the town, so both of her parents are kill by the bad boss, she walk into the deface house, the door is disappear, the glass spread around the floor, the only thing didn’t burn down is the family picture.

The girl hug it very hard, almost to crash it, she start to cry, she is very upset and very weak now.

“Why did they did that to my parent, why.” The girl cried out loud.

The detective wants to make her calm down, but he didn’t know what can he say

  At the way back home, the wind blow through the girl’s face, she smell some aroma, it seem like her mother is beside her, from now on the girl decide to look forward, and enjoy the rest of her life.

Falling action

  When the fight between the bad boss and the young detective was over, the detective went to check the house again, because the bad guy just a little bit dizzy, so he might wake up and kill the detective again, so he send the boss to the police station, to make sure the bad guy will not escape.

  

  When he went into the hose to check, he saw a young woman, probably 18 years old, she was weak, and also get a serious fever, so he pick up the woman, run out the house, as fast as the rocket, because he don't want another innocent people to die in this crazy house, during the running, finally they approach the hospital, the young woman is safe now, he look closely to the woman, she was beautiful now, like the shiny star in the sky, her skin is also very smooth, and her hair is as soft as the pillow.

  

  The young detective can't handle himself right now, he save a innocent beautiful woman, and now the detective is fall in love, he already make a decision, he decide to take care of her forever.

Climax

   After taking a rest he keep on moving to find out the boss, he walk in to the woodland to find some clues, as deeper he walk into the wood land he find out more footprint, and those footprint are very clear which means people just walk by.

  At the same time he see a very gorgeous house in front of him, and he think he see this house somewhere else, suddenly he remember, this house is sheriff’s house, which is a photo hang on the wall in the office. So he make a guess, he think the bad boss is sheriff, which also is his superior.

  He open use the tunnel to go in, it is dark in the tunnel, because the door is unlocked, so he run to the second floor and open the door, suddenly he see the sheriff is killed by the other people, and the real murder is outside the house and try to escape, he run down the stair and start to chaise the murder, now the sheriff is the bad boss, he chaise the murder nee the cliff, because there are no way to go, and now the murderer turn back, the detective was surprise to see the face because the murderer is his best friend in his police career called Brian

“Why do you want to kill the sheriff,” asked the detective

“He never care about me, so I kill all the rich guy in this town to be as rich as he does, so I can kill him and be the sheriff” said the murderer.

  And then the murderer run toward him with a knife in his hand, and a gun in another hand, he shoot the gun to the detective, because the detective learn boxing before so he avoid the bullet, and punch the murder and pull him up, because the murderer already dizzy, so the detective just take him to the police office

My character

  The character I’m talking about is the detective called Brown, he is the most famous police and detective in the whole Scotland.

He is 20 years old, blue eyes with brown hair, 180cm, and he use to be a prodigy when he was young, he is a straight a student for any subject, even though the higher grade’s question he still can solve, he has a natural ability, he is smarter than anyone. He also like to read books and make some experiment of anything he want to figure, his friends gives him a nick name “Brown is Holmes,” which means Sherlock Holmes is brown.

  His parents is very rich, his father is the boss of sign, which is the personal detective officer, and his father also very smart, extremely smart, just like him, and his mother is the boss of Doodle, which is the organization to find the best artisan in the world and help people to renovate their house or to decorate their house. They live in the outside of Scotland, with good weather and animal, they says it can help detective to think some problem.

  Because Brown is very talent, so he also helps police to solve some knotty cases, so as more cases he some, he become more famous.

Rising action

      As the young detective want to find out more clues in the house, the strange man in the nowhere cleans out more clues, so this young detective decide to find out this stranger first, and capture him and ask him about this case, because he think this stranger maybe related with the death, and related with the boss.

      He asked some citizen live in the town to figure out which organization is the most scary and most frightful one, and where did they lived, and which way of killing people most of them are using, because if he know all the think, he can easily find out the real murder.

      He walks in to the police station

“Excuse me sir, do you know which organization in the town is the most frightful, and the most scary one?” the young detective asked.

“Of course we know sir, this organization already kill all the billionaires in the town, and we can’t find out the place where they live, and this group call MTC.”

“Thank you sir, if I need your help I’ll come back soon” said the detective.

     When the young detective walk out the street, the cold wind pass through his face, he had a glimpse, he saw the stranger, and at the same time, he already know who is the stranger and where did the boss live. The real game started now.

My conflict

Conflict is very important for a story, it tells the problem in the story, it shows the problem in the story, and let the reader understand what’s going on.

 

  In my own story, the conflict is about a young detective want to find out who actually kill the owner of the red wooden house in the country of Scotland, but when he tries to find out more clues, the problems get more complicated, and more harder to figure out, but he knows there is a queer guy who follow him to the house and cleans up all the clues that the young detective want to get.

Maybe the stranger is the boss who tells his subordinate to kill the house owner, or maybe he just get cardiopathy and suddenly his heart break up, and die, the newspaper in the Scotland tells the man get cardiopathy and this is the reason why he die, but the young detective against this solution, so this is the reason why he come back, because he want to prove there is a real murder kill the man.

  Story can’t be finished without conflict, because conflict is the most interesting part of the story and the most exciting part.

Exposition

  In the country of Scotland, there is a red wooden house, cover by the bushy woodland, you can see the frog jump, you can smell the rotten wood, the red wooden house is empty now, because there is a murder inside who kill all the member, when the police come to busted, they see the man is eating the hand of the house member, the only word the murder said is

“The hand taste like the meat.”

 Even though they already kill the criminal, but police Norman think there is an another person who give the order to kill the people, so he decided to go back to the original place to look for the clue.

   When he start, he figure out actually there is a footprint at the door way and the walk way, but when he come tomorrow again, he figure out somebody follow him, and that guy clean out all the clue he look for, and he had no idea who is that strange guy, it must be the person who know him very well, and know what he is going to do, maybe is the boss for the bad guy, he think to himself, without clue make his work harder, but he is the best detective in the whole Scotland.

Slang

  What is slang? Do you ever hear somebody same something which include their own way of speaking or dialect.

 Actually slang is a little bit similar to the dialect, which they both are the words that we are not going to use while we are writing, but we might use them during our communication and daily life.

The example of the slang can be like: “sorry my bad”, which means a kind of apologize to another person, and also means “I was bad”

And there is another example of slang, which can make you more clearly:

“That iceman is my friend” the word iceman means the person who has the nerve of the steel, he won’t give up even though during the extreme condition.

 

Using slang is not a bad idea, it make the sentence shorter and easy to understand, also it include a lot of funny way of writing inside you paragraph, so try to use the slang can make your life easier, also it slowly become a style of communication in the world, people are not going to say a lot of long sentence, instead they use slang to communicate with each other.

My style

  Everybody have their own style, the style can keep you from being as same as the other people, style I your special way doing something.

Do you have any style?

  I have my own style, but my style maybe is not a good style, I don’t like my room being so neatly, some time there is a pair of socks, suddenly there is my cloth, so every time when I come back home, the first thing I do is to clean up mu room, but I always being upset, because tomorrow, my room going to full of cloths and pants again, I really don’t like my room being too neatly, because it make me feel I need to be very careful in my room, but this is my room, I want it to be different than the other, may be throw my pant and cloths here and there is not a “good” style.

  Sometime I wearing the shoes that is very bright, just like my red reebok shoes, and the clothe I wear is normal, maybe t- shit, with a jacket, that it.

So many people ask me why do I wear like this, I said, because I think this si the different way of dressing, always wearing shits with tie, and leather shoes is too obvious, so wear like this can make me different.

  Your own can’t be copy by anyone, because you create it by yourself, you are the owner of your style, the style you have is the gift from your brain, because it is different.

Introduction to me

      Hi every one my name is Isaac Yu, I was born in United State Of America, in California, some people say I am very tall, I think is because I always play basketball, and always do some sport. But I come back to Taiwan when I was  one year old, the reason why I cam to Taiwan is, because my parents want my Chinese to be good enough, so we can be able to communicate with foreigner and Chinese people.

      I like to play basketball, and badminton, and I play both sports very well, my aunt teach me about badminton, and my dad teach me about basketball, I start to play basketball when I was  in kindergarten, but I make a big mistake, and  I feels regret,  the mistake is, when my dad tell me to practice my dribbling, I only   do it for 30 seconds, then i go to play with the other kid, if I can  practice it continuously, my skill can be munch better than now.

     But the most thing I want to do in the future is, to be a fly attendance, the reason why I am choosing this job is because, while you are working, but you can go to different place to meet different kind of culture, also can make some friend with different kind of hobbit.

     Every body have their own dream and their own way in their life, people can't be the same, because we are not different when we borned.

                                                                           Three pigs

   Long long time ago, there was a pig family, the remember include 3 little pigs, and their mom, because their dad was ate by the wolf, so the pig’s mom decided to separate her children, and let them built their own house so the big bad wolf can’t find them and ate them.
 After a week, the little three pig packed all the thing they wanted to used to built a house, and say good bye to their mom.
At the beginning, the three brothers walked together to found a place to built their house, first the big brother saw a place which surround by the trees, and he think it is the place to hide and built the house, because he is a lazy children, so he found some grass at the bottom of the trees, he cut down some bark and made them thing, and to tie all the grass together, and finally the house was finished, but his two brother think his house still not strong enough to defend himself if the wolf came, but the big brother said
“ You won’t understand, I am  used the same color with the surround, so that stupid wolf can’t find me”
When his brothers saw him like this, so vain, they just walk away and find a better place, and the big brother just went into the house and started to sleep, pretend no thing happened before.
 After two hours walking, second brother find a place which is beside the cliff, and have a little stream on the other side, he was very happy, because he was thirsty, so second brother decided to built his house between the cliff and the stream, but his brother think this place so he said
“ Brother i think this wasn’t a good place to built your house, because when the stream became flood, you will be blocked by the cliff, and ate by the wolf, if he came”
“ Don’t worried, who am i, i am your brother i know which is the best place ok, but you were right let me think about your advice” said the second brother.
Finally the second brother still decided to built he house between the stream and cliff, he found some wood at downstream, at he used the hammer he took from home, and used the nail to completed the structure, finally the house was complete.
 Now the only big who don’t have a house was the youngest brother, he still waled on the trail to found a place, and suddenly he saw a plain with a beautiful view, beautiful mountain and flourish amount of water, so he used the bricks which took from home, and started to built the house, the totally time he used to built his house was the double of his two brother, but also was double stronger than his two brother.
Next, at the summer the killer wolf came back, when he found out the pigs were gone he was sad because he ran out of foods for to weeks, so he was hungry, when he saw a green  house which made by grass, he was happy, because the distant from here to there was closed, so he ran on the train toward the green grass house, and open the door with silent, he saw a fat pig sleeping at the corner, and he open his enormous moth, and then the biggest brother already in wolf body, but 1 pig wasn’t enough for the wolf, he kept on walking to find another prey.
After ten minute he saw another house which was a wooden house, and he smell the aroma which was pig’s smell, he open the door with silent, and he saw the pig was cooking his dinner, so the hungry wolf stalk to the pig, and use his sharp claws to kill the pig and ate him.
Still two pigs are not enough, he kept on walking, and he saw the beautiful house he never seen before, which was made by the youngest pig in the family, he opened the door, suddenly a big hammer flew by, and hit on wolf’s head, and the wolf feel dizzy now, and after few minute when he woke up, he figure out he was i a pot, a huge pot, and the water already reach the boiling point, because his hands and feet are tie, so he can’t move easily,and after 20 minute the youngest brother started to drink the wolf soup and ate dinner.
 At last the youngest pig didn’t kill by the wolf, and he also is the smartest pig in his family, and this story told us, if you keep on going and don’t give up, you can find a better environment or better place for yourself, and be more successful then the other people.

  conflict

 Have you ever have argue with the other people, or fight with some one who say something bad about you? How do you feel about it, sad or angry
 
I’ve got this kind of happen before, when I was in 5th grade, there is small guy who said my friend and I are the gay couple in the school, when he said in first time, I think maybe he just feel boring, and want to make some joke with his classmate, but tomorrow he still said the same thing continuously, after the 5th time, I think to my self, do I need to punch him and let him shut up, but if I do that I might get detention, but i don;t care any more, detention is detention, so I become angry, just like the erupt volcano, I punch him with my hand to his belly, because it was to heart so he roll left and right, although I  vent my anger to this small bad guy, but, my friend and I also got the detention.

Have some conflict is very obvious, because you might have the argument  between two people, and you might be angry because they some bad thing about you, those thing are the basic thing in life, because your life can’t always be flat and with out curve, and life must include some challenge so you can improve to show people that your are not a stupid person, and you have all the ability they have.

Analogy

When I play basketball in the team, we always need to play with the other school, just like a contest, almost all the people in the team need to plays at least one quarter during the game, when the coach call my name and let me to play, I can feel all the audience’s are look at me, even though the other team’s teammate, just like the wolves stare it’s food, and wait for a good time to kill them, and my heart just as nervous as an enormous earthquake shake and destroy all the building, you might think play in a team is very easy and you are not going to be tired, you are wrong.

  When you play until the last quarter, you are very tired and your heart just like an old men’s heart, ready to die quickly, and you can lie down forever, and don’t want to get up, and wit out any strength.

  The most ease time is in the whole game is sit on the bench, and drink some water, after finished them you will feel you are more stronger and more easier to handle the game, just like the huge green Hulk waiting to beat all the enemies, as easy as wash your hand.

 Even though the game is hard to play, but all the teammate are enjoy it with enthusiasm.

Fighting words

    Have you ever been fight with someone in your life, because they said something bad about you? Or have an argument with the other people? How do you feel about that?

    When I was eight years old, it is my first argue happen between the other student and me, he is small but easy to be mad, he said my friend and I are like gay couple always walk together, he just use a lot of bad word to describe my friend and me, suddenly my furious burst out, just like a volcano burst all the lava out, because this guy really need to be punch by the other guy so he can understand what is shut up means, so my friend and I punch him like two or three times. This guy roll from left to right because it is hurt, although the fight already finished, of course we got talk with our teacher about the fight, and of course we got the punishment.

    People always have argument because of the bad words and personal problem, but in this situation fight is not the first choice, we need to calm down to talk with each other, so both side won’t get hurt, and the problem are solve.

  Yes I do, I really like to play basketball, I start to play it when I was 6 years old, and now I am I the basketball team in PAS (Pacific American School), this is my first time to play in a team and have a real basketball game and contest, so I practice my skill, because when I step on to the court, my mind suddenly become an empty space through my body. The coach said to practice skill so you can be able to face the fear when your mind is empty.

  There is also another thing I focus on is my shooting skill, because I want to score goals as many as I can, it also help our team to be the leader, and if you have a good shooting, it also decrease the chance of losing.

Right know I can shoot 6 out of 20, so this number needs to increase, so we can win at least one game for next time.

  But, although I practice all of this skill, the most thing I need to practice is my defence, I can’t follow the other team for a long time, so my body need to be able to run for a long time during the game, so, if I can increase my skill of defending, we can win the game for ever.

  People always think basketball is a dangerous game, but I don’t think so, it is the game that you need to practice your skill secretly, so you can be stronger and win the game easily. And this is my motivation, be a basketball star in the future.

Below the surface

    Have you ever been judge by somebody else, or somebody give you their opinion about you?

  I’ve been judge by my parent every day, because my grade isn’t very good, so my parent want me to practice my English at home as well.

And when I first go to basketball cout with my dad in Taipei, when his friends see me, they think I am very tall, so they asked me

“ WOW, you are a tall guy, do you join the basket ball team at school? You can beat the other guy with you height and skill easily right?.”

They always ask a lot of question, and like to include some their own opinion about me

    When people give you their own opinion, they want you improve so they give you their opinion, so opinion can be the propeller that move you to the higher level, people give you opinion is because they want to see you can change the thing you done wrong before, and you can have a chance to do it again, some time some opinion maybe hurt you because they are not the praise, in this condition just do it again so people are not complain about you anymore, and have a good mood so you can do the things well.

Oops

  When you have a good friend and you already know him for long time ago, but suddenly you see him do something he never done before? How do you feel about        that, is that surprised you?

  Actually I have this kind of experience, when my dad is yelling at me, I think he always be angry, and never happy before, he always have a serious face, even though at home, but when I see him talk with my aunt he is very happy, extremely happy, suddenly I was surprised, because I never seen my dad before, this is my first time, maybe it is too boring at home, and he just want somebody to talk with.

  Even though you understand your friend for many long years, but you still have something you don’t understand, and you don’t recognized before, so maybe those things will surprised you, maybe they are going to change your friend in your mind, maybe they are not good any more, even though you don’t know, you still can recognized the things you don’t know, you can find out the answer for yourself, so you won’t be able to understand something you don’t know about your friend or family any more.
